The public may utilize facilities like mobile banking, internet banking, cards, etc. By shifting to digital payment from the cash payment option facilitates the user the comfort of sitting at home that is efficient, convenient, safe, secure and affordable it said. Non-cash payment would avoid unnecessary social contacts and using cash which may require going to crowded places for sending money or paying bills, it added. Online channels like mobile banking, internet banking, cards, etc. are good substitutes for sending money or paying bills without using currency notes.
