Bank Holidays 2020 declared by Tripura State Government

All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays (Applicable to all commercial and co-operative banks operating in entire India)   under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.            As such following holidays have not been included in the list of holiday.

Republic day 26 January2020,  Kharchi Puja (28 Jun2020) Muharrum (30 Aug2020), Manavami (25 Oct 2020) fall on Sunday.

Mahashtami (24 Oct 2020), falls on 4th Saturday, Diwali (14 November 2020) falls on 2nd Saturday.

If any of the holidays for the festivals of Muslim fraternity notified above does not fall on the date notified, the holiday date may be altered by the concerned government or the community fraternity in government service may be granted special holidays on the date observable.
