Bank holidays 2023 under NI Act: Sikkim State

The Government of Sikkim State declared the following days to be a public holiday during the year 2022 under section 25 of the NI act 1881.

 All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. (This holiday rule is applicable to all commercial and cooperative banks operating in the entire India).
