Wage revision talks between IBA and UFBU scheduled for 15th October.

In a letter dated October 1, 2019, addressed to Shri.Sanjeev K Bandish convenor UFBU, S.K. Kakkar, Senior advisor of IBA invited the General Secretaries of constituents workmen Unions/Officers’ Associations for wage revision talks on Tuesday 15th October 2019 at 11.00 am in the committee room of IBA, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai-400 005.
In the meantime with regard to IBA’s instructions to banks to pay one-month advance salary against the payment of arrears, four officers organisations AIBOC, AIBOA,INBOC, NOBO have strongly registered their protest against unilateral approach of IBA therby candidly demeaning the bilatteral exercise over a period of nearly 4 decades. They said it would be in order for the IBA to immediately convene a meeting of the representatives of UFBU on priority basis to avoid the needless misunderstanding and derailment in industrial relation climate. They have further requested the convenor of UFBU to communicate IBA to advise the memeber banks not to act on the communication for the time being till any dialogue with UFBU.
