Bank Holidays 2025: Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The Administration of Andaman and Nicobar islands declared following days are declared for the year 2025 as public holidays under the explanation of sec 25 of NI Act 1881.

*Only Banks are closed on the 1st of April every year due to ANNUAL CLOSING of accounts.  All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. (This holiday rule is applicable to all commercial and co-operative banks operating in entire India).
