Bank Holidays 2026: Andaman and Nicobar islands UT

The Administration of Andaman and Nicobar islands through notification No.92/2025/F.No.M-13/18/2022-GA dated 12.11.2025  declared following days are declared for the year 2025 as public holidays under the explanation of sec 25 of NI Act 1881

*Only Banks are closed on the 1st of April every year due to ANNUAL CLOSING of accounts.  All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. (This holiday rule is applicable to all commercial and co-operative banks operating in entire India).
