Bank Holidays 2022 under NI Act: Chhattisgarh State

Calendar of public holidays 2022 in Chhattisgarh State under section 25 of NI act 1881 is as under

All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. The following festivals /occasions which fall on Sunday have been excluded from the above list.

1).10.07.2022 Bakrid,    2). 2.10.2022 Mahatma Gandhi Birthday 3) 9.10.2022 Eid-Milad, 4) 25.12.2022 Christmas

If any of the holidays for the festivals of the Muslim fraternity notified above does not fall on the date notified, the holiday date may be altered by the concerned government or the community fraternity in government service may be granted special holidays on the date observable.
