The Administration of Jammu & Kashmir UT     declared the following days to be a public holiday during the year 2022, under the explanation of section 25 of NI act 1881.

The following holidays are not included in the above list as they fall on Second Saturday or Sundays

1. 09.01.2022 Guru Gobind ji Birth day,
2. 09.07.2022 Eid-Ul- Azha (Second Saturday)
3. 10.07.2022 Eid-Ul Azha,
4. 2.10.2022 Mahatma Gandhi Birth Day,
5. 9.10.2022 Eid-i-Milad
6. 25.12.2022 Christmas

If any of the holidays for the festivals of the Muslim fraternity notified above does not fall on the date notified, the holiday date may be altered by the concerned government or the community fraternity in government service may be granted special holidays on the date observable.
