Bank Holidays 2024: Himachal Pradesh

The Government of Himachal Pradesh vide notification No.GAD-A(F)10-7/2023 dated 02.11.2023 declared the following days as public holidays for the year 2024 under section 25 of the NI Act (Negotiable Instrument Act) 1881.

The following days are declared as Gazetted holidays for the year 2024 for women employees working in all Government Offices/Boards/Corporations/educational Institutions in H.P. These will also be holidays for women employees under section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act 1881 and also daily waged women employees.

2.20.10.2024 Sunday Karva Chauth

3.03.11.2024 Sunday Bhai Duj

All Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays are Bank Holidays under the explanation to section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.
