Arrears Calculator for Clerical / Customer Service Associates

1. Download the Excel file by clicking the blue button.

2. Open the file from your Downloads folder. It should look similar to the screen in the video. The layout may vary slightly depending on your spreadsheet software and screen size, but the basic functionality will be the same.

3. If the file opens in read-only mode, look for an ‘Enable Editing’ option and select it before making changes

If you don’t have MS Excel or need help with the file, please email your salary details (basic salary, SPL. PAY, PQP, FPP, HRA to iamvarunnaik@gmail.com. I’ll fill out the form and send the PDF back to you.

INSTRUCTIONS

BASIC SALARY

  1. Locate cell B10.
  2. Select your current salary from the drop-down list. This will update your salary for the entire period.
  3. If your salary changed or you retired:
    • Click the cell for the month where the change occurred.
    • Update your salary. The following months will automatically reflect the change.

SPECIAL PAY

  • Find Cell D10.
  • Select your special pay from the drop-down list.

PQP and FPP

  • Skip this step if it doesn’t apply to you.
  • Update PQP in cell E10 using the drop-down list.
  • Update FPP in cell F10 using the drop-down list.

TA, DA, and HRA

Will update automatically through formulas.

That’s it! Your arrears will be calculated.
